When we founded The Hairy Dog in 2010, we wanted to be different and stand out from the rest. We wanted to be cleaner, more accommodating and provide a fun and relaxing experience for you and your dog. We also wanted to be absolutely transparent in the price our customers pay for top quality, full service grooming.

Unlike other businesses, we wanted to avoid a model that basically boils down to the time it takes to groom a dog. We didn't want our groomers rushing through grooms so they could get to the next one because when you emphasize being fast over being good - that's what you get - a fast cut. We wanted each dog to get the care, time and attention they needed. We knew we could do better.

We have two offerings for each breed; 1) a bath and 2) a haircut. Each offering includes:

premium shampoo and conditioner (including flea/tick, medicated, specialty or hypo)
blueberry facial scrub
hand drying
nail clip and grind
teeth brushed
gentle gland expression
ears cleaned and plucked (if needed)
face/feet/tail/sanitary touch up if needed
between 10 and 20 minutes of de-shedding treatment or de-matting (for haircut dogs) depending on breed and size

Other groomers charge extra for these options but our goal is to give each dog exactly what they need at an affordable price without the confusion of all the add on services.

At The Hairy Dog we focus on providing you top quality service with the lowest amount of stress and and anxiety on your pet. We space our clients throughout the day and offer cage free areas (separate small and large dog areas) where the dogs can roam and play. Our groomers have many years of experience and are simply the best in the valley. We LOVE our clients and we LOVE our jobs!!

A clean cat is a happy cat...and we're here to help! Cats can be finicky and resistant to bathing, but just as it's important to keep your canine friends healthy and clean, cats can benefit from professional grooming.
